Food and Public Distribution Minister Pralhad Joshi launched a portal named subsidy claim application for national food security act (SCAN). The Portal will ensure end-to-end automation of processes for the release and settlement of food subsidies. Speaking at the occasion, Mr Joshi said, these innovative steps will enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the implementation of the PDS. He said, these steps are aimed towards modernising the Public Distribution System and subsidy claim mechanisms of the States.

Accordingly, in partial modification of this Department's allocalion.letter no. l-812013 BP.III(Vol.II)ft. le-3237321 dated 28.11.2025 (copy enclosed), the revised monthly allocation after allocating Coarse grains for the month of February 2026 to Uttar Pradesh under NFSA will be as under:

The validity period for lifting of the above revised allocation will be as per the existing instructions conveyed vide this Department's letter No.1-2/2007-BP.III dated I 1.07 .2014.
